Technological University Dublin is one of Ireland’s largest and most forward-looking public universities, known for its strong focus on engineering, technology, and computer science, while also offering a wide range of programmes in design, arts, humanities, tourism, hospitality, marketing, and business.

Originally established in 1992 through the merger of six separate colleges, TU Dublin has since grown into a key institution in Irish higher education and is a proud member of the European University Association (EUA).

Today, over 22,000 students study at TU Dublin, including full-time, part-time, and postgraduate students. More than 1,000 international students from 85 countries contribute to the university’s diverse and inclusive learning environment. Across its six faculties, TU Dublin offers over 300 academic and professional programmes.

While the university’s teaching facilities have historically been spread across central Dublin, TU Dublin is now consolidating its operations into a state-of-the-art campus in Grangegorman, located in the western part of the city. This new campus, currently under development, will provide cutting-edge facilities for teaching, research, innovation, and student life.
