American College Dublin

American College Dublin (ACD) was established in 1993 as a non-profit educational institution by Lynn University, located in Boca Raton, Florida. Over the past decades, ACD has evolved from a small overseas study hub for American students into a global learning center, welcoming learners from over 35 countries. The college also operates a sister campus — American College Delaware — which facilitates student exchange between Ireland and the United States.

The academic programs at ACD blend the best elements of both the American and Irish education systems. Classes are intentionally kept small — typically under 20 students — allowing for greater personal attention and a supportive learning environment. Many degree programs feature internship components, giving students valuable hands-on experience in their chosen fields.

Location

The college is situated in the heart of Dublin, on the historic Merrion Square. The main building holds cultural significance — it was once the childhood home of Oscar Wilde, the famed Irish writer. His father, Sir William Wilde, owned the residence from 1855 until his death in 1876.
